WESTRIDE「PT.TEE.25-04」

The new work, inspired by the shop tee of MR WR, a tuner specializing in WR, features a character that personifies the WR stroker kit. The 45 class, which is particularly popular in recent vintage bike races, is originally 750cc, but many of the bikes that actually enter are tuned to 55 = 900cc. This is one of the main graphics for this season, which uniquely expresses the current situation and at the same time proclaims the importance of aiming for the "limit".

The design art is by KNUCKLE from LITTLE CHOP DESIGN. A lowbrow artist living in Gifu. He is a top artist who is extremely popular, with the best skills and sense in Japan, especially in airbrush art and sculpture art. He is active worldwide, having worked on the prototypes of official figures for AC/DC, SUICIDAL TENDENCIES, etc. Every year, he holds his own art show, MONSTER FAN CLUB, and continues to fascinate fans with his unique worldview. He creates artwork at various custom shows and events, and is a talented artist with many customers all over the country.

Sewing: WESTRIDE's original TEE is knitted on a round-body hanging machine → split the sides and sewn with double seams → cut the seam allowance on the inside side → triple-bind the neck. This is a very time-consuming process. This process prevents the deformation such as twisting that is common with round-body TEEs, and the texture is also good. Since TEEs also have an aspect of underwear, we are particular about not only the print pattern but also the quality itself when producing them.

Printing method: Regarding the printing method, even with the same design, the base color, print color, and print design are considered one by one, and the best one is selected for each and printed by hand. (Water-based dyeing, half rubber, discharge printing, cracking, etc.)

Print design: Each graphic has its own message and story. One of the fun things about wearing the design is to look at the background of them at the same time. The designs are mainly front prints and back prints, and are put together with artwork that is typical of WESTRIDE. Items with a front design can be layered with a vest, shirt and jacket, while items with a back design can be paired with top accessories. This lineup is designed to allow you to fully enjoy fashion. We are also constantly incorporating new materials and techniques for prints and inks to create more expressive designs.
