WESTRIDE「PT.TEE.25-08」

A new graphic inspired by the huge sign of the old COWBOY shop that stands on the roadside. Known for its catchphrase, "To have a good trip, you need a good rest. Take a break," this wilderness drive center must have been an oasis for the mind and body of travelers.

The design art is by GDW STUDIO's "WEE." He is a LEATHER artist living in Musashino City, and has unparalleled originality in his method of carving leather and injecting color into it, the same method used to carve tattoos into human skin. He is an up-and-coming artist who has attracted attention from all quarters.

Sewing: WESTRIDE's original TEE is knitted on a round-body hanging machine → the sides are split and sewn with a double seam → the inner side seam is cut → the neck is triple-bound. This is a very time-consuming finish. This process prevents the shape from becoming distorted, such as twisting, which is common in round-body products, and the texture is good. Since TEEs also have an undergarment aspect, we are particular about not only the print pattern but also the quality itself when producing them.

Printing method: Regarding the printing method, even if it is the same design, we consider the base color, print color, and print design one by one, and choose the best one for each and hand print it. (Water-based dyeing, half rubber, discharge printing, cracking, etc.)

Print design: Each graphic has its own message or story. One of the pleasures of wearing the design is to look at the background of them at the same time as wearing them. The designs are mainly front prints and back prints, and are put together with artwork that is typical of Westride. The ones with the main front design can be layered with vests, shirts and jackets, and the ones with the main back design can be set up with top accessories. This lineup is designed with total coordination in mind to "enjoy fashion to the fullest". In addition, we are always incorporating new materials and methods such as print ink to create more expressive finishes.
