TCB USN 40's Reversible T-shirt TCB*XX Development collab
TCB USN 40's Reversible T-shirt TCB*XX Development collab
At TCB, we've never been driven by the season or budget when we start a project. Instead, we start working on my ideas or impulses.
It's fun to get people involved so that the idea doesn't die down but this time, I wanted to make something that I can't make at TCB but possible with my comrade, Taichi from XX DEVELOPMENT.
"Let's make a reversible T-shirt and put each other's message on each side!"
We got excited over the phone.
As I always say, TCB is a denim brand. We can't make T-shirts so we don't make them so when we release them under TCB, we ask people who can make them and sell them only as a collab item.
And, although it may seem irresponsible, we shared the theme and exchanged ideas, but let them do the details freely as they want because I know it will definitely be better that way.
The base is a 1940's USN reversible T-shirt
The origin of the word T-shirt? However, when laid flat, it really does form the letter T, and there is no incline on the shoulders or difference between the front and back of the neck.
The finished T-shirt is just like starting to wear a stiff, unworn pair of denim.
He might get angry if I write this, but I think it was a challenge to try the specifications that SURE alone would not do.
When putting our message on each side, Taichi ordered a stencil machine from the US because the original T-shirt was of the US and the stencil machine must have been of the US.
As for the meaning of the message, TCB said DO ONE THING WELL If you love something, you will be good at it. My love and passion towards denim is the basis of TCB brand, you know.
SURE has a message that seems like an answer from my message, "IT TAKES ONE TO KNOW ONE".
Finally, I am really happy that more and more people are wearing TCB with SURE T-shirts and sweatshirts these days. Thank you for your continued support.
